NPS (Net Promoter Score) is a customer loyalty metric introduced by Fred Reichheld of Bain & Company in 2003. It asks "How likely are you to recommend our product/service to a friend or colleague?" using a 0-10 scale, categorizing customers into Promoters (9-10), Passives (7-8), and Detractors (0-6), ultimately calculating a score between -100 and +100.

- Good (NPS +30 to +69): Strong performance with room for improvement
